NBC Tanzania Partners with Silabu to Transform Financial Education for Youth

In a monumental step towards enhancing financial literacy among the youth, NBC Tanzania has partnered with Silabu – The social learning app. This strategic collaboration is set to empower teachers with essential financial literacy tools through innovative digital learning solutions. Spearheaded by NBC Tanzania’s Kizazismart program, the initiative aims to enrich students’ financial acumen and instill a culture of saving from an early age.

Last weekend, Yoabu Ndanzi, NBC Tanzania’s Head of Products for the education sector, announced this groundbreaking partnership. “We are thrilled to join forces with Silabu, a platform dedicated to providing youth with new skills. This partnership is a significant leap towards revolutionizing the classroom experience by integrating comprehensive financial education and banking services directly into the learning process,” said Ndanzi. “By equipping educators with the right tools, we aim to create a generation that is financially savvy and prepared for the future.”
