Access Hub Africa Partners with Virtual Essence Limited to Transform K-12 Education in Kenya

We are thrilled to announce a groundbreaking partnership between Access Hub Africa (AHA) and Virtual Essence Limited aimed at transforming educational opportunities for K-12 learners across Kenya. This collaboration will see MsingiPACK Digital Learning Content, known for its interactive and responsive quality, deployed in AHA’s offline solar-powered digital libraries. This initiative aligns perfectly with Kenya’s Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) and is approved by the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD).

The MsingiPACK Digital Learning Content offers students access to comprehensive and high-quality educational resources, even in areas where electricity and internet connectivity are limited. By integrating MsingiPACK into AHA’s infrastructure, both organizations are committed to ensuring that all students, regardless of their geographical location, have the tools they need to succeed.

Victor Malombe, Co-Founder of Access Hub Africa, expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating, “This collaboration with Virtual Essence Limited is a significant step forward in our mission to bridge the education gap in Kenya. By deploying MsingiPACK in our solar-powered digital libraries, we can provide learners with the resources they need to excel in their studies. We are grateful for the support we’ve received from the Mastercard Edtech Fellowship Program, which has been instrumental in helping us develop the infrastructure necessary to reach schools in even the most remote areas.”

Mike Wachira, CEO of Virtual Essence Limited, also shared his enthusiasm: “We are proud to partner with Access Hub Africa to bring MsingiPACK to more learners across Kenya. Our digital content is designed to align with the CBC and provide students with an engaging and effective learning experience. Together, we are breaking down barriers to education and empowering the next generation with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.”

The partnership between AHA and Virtual Essence is further strengthened by the support and resources provided by the Mastercard Edtech Fellowship Program. This program has played a critical role in the development and deployment of the infrastructure and digital content that will be used in this initiative. The grant and expert resources provided by the program have enabled both organizations to expand their reach and impact, bringing transformative educational opportunities to students across Kenya.

As this partnership unfolds, Access Hub Africa and Virtual Essence Limited are committed to continuing their efforts to enhance educational outcomes and bridge the education gap in Kenya. By leveraging innovative technology and a robust implementation strategy, they are ensuring that no student is left behind, regardless of their access to traditional educational resources.

Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting journey as we work together to empower the next generation of learners and create a brighter future for education in Kenya.
